I often notice that people fishing from shore always seem to want to cast their bait as far out as possible while people in boats with an entire bay open to them cast their bait near the same shore.
Strange.

Near us on the Hudson, guys from shore had a toy remote control boat used to carry their bait to the channel for stripers...not sure if it worked or not but pretty ingenious.

You can’t use logic and fishing in the same sentence.

Toy remote control boats are so dated... people use drones nowadays with payload release and camera to pinpoint the fish
