hi, on a VP dp 2000 model i have a knocking sound coming from the port drive. i changed the gimbel bearing this spring and greased it and the u-joints. very quiet from may until this past weekend when i ran it over 17 hours on a trip. it started after of 2 hours of running time. the boat only has 220 hours on it. the knocking sound will go away if i raise the rpm a little. also turning the steering wheel has no affect on this noise. it also klunks more than the other side when putting it into gear. does anyone have any suggestions for this dilema, thanks in advance, Joe.
