i have a 77 crestliner 18 ft with a 250 inline 6 i am replacing the motor with a 292. the outdrive is a model one i believe. i would assume it is the original. question is can i change outdrive to a newer one, what years can i use and what type outdrive or am i stuck with the one i have. mine is showing some where around the edge where the prop slides on the unit thanks Eric
