I don't know if the 11pm news had their facts right, but they said 10 people were on the boat.

A boat capsized late Sunday in Pelican Harbor, spilling a family of eight into the water and killing one man, authorities and witnesses said.
Rescue workers pulled the lifeless body of a middle-age man from the waters of the marina off the 79th Street Causeway in Northeast Miami.
The unidentified man was pronounced dead at North Shore Medical Center, according to a Miami fire-rescue spokesman.
Boater Carlos Pau, who saw the 17-foot vessel go under about 8 p.m., helped ferry victims from the water to land.
''I rescued a couple of people and they told us there was a body trapped under the boat,'' said Pau, who had just arrived with his family for an evening Mother's Day cruise.
Family members told Pau that they had all gone to the front of the boat as it docked, which caused it to flip over.
