Sorry, I can't find your email. Have a question for you on the Montego. I believe you installed the tv antenna correct? Can you tell me how you ran it, how it works, and any other info?

When I plug the TV in to the cable inlet in the forward berth, there is nothing. I am trying to see if I can get some over the air broadcast so I can have some TV to fall asleep to.

I did notice under the setee, a shakspere signal amplifier but it is not plugged in or connected in any way, just stored there.

Jim,
I ran Rg-6 outside on the stern that terminates in the forward state room. I had a direct TV dish mounted to the dock and a sat receiver in the forward state room. I then ran audio and video cables from the forward state room to the salon. I think those were removed prior to selling the boat.

The shakspeare antenna that I installed never worked correctly. I left the anntenna lead under the sette. I was going to install it in the state room or the main salon if it worked.

Yes the antenna on the arch goes to the cable under the Sette. I think it didn't work well was due to some rust on the internal antenna parts. You can take it apart to see.
