Part of my winter product is to paint my trailer.

What paint do I use? Should I sand the trailer first??

How is an aluminum trailer rusting?

Why not just clean it up, and if you want, wax it? It will never look bad, just dull. If you paint it, you will have to maintain the paint.

"How is an aluminum trailer rusting?" Good question.

If the trailer is steel then it is an entirely different matter. First clean all areas where the metal is showing. Treat with a product like Osfo that will bond with the metal to reduce possible future rusting.

Then sand as necessary and paint with GOOD primer specifically formulated for the material and environment for which the trailer will be used.
