Plotter and fish finder for tender

Hello:

I am looking for a small battery powered chart plotter / fish finder for our 11' Aluminum Hull RIB tender. Something that will tell me the water depth with a transducer and have a chart plotter (with map chip) so when we go out at night we can find our way home.

We used to have the Garmin 76 as a small handheld and it worked great but it lacked the water depth feature.

I would prefer Garmin and also one unit to perform both tasks.

If you mean internal-battery powered, I'm not aware ( means nothing though) of any chartplotter ( good chartware) /sonar like that by Garmin.

But ...if... your RIB's O/B by any chance has a charging circuit & battery, maybe something like this EMap 54CV? :

However.... they do have a small Striker Plus Fish finder /GPS that at least says "battery powered" and has depth/sonar capabilities and T/D , but it looks like the chartware woulld be terrible for areas you have not been over before and made your own U/W bathy maps.. It has a base map , which are generally pretty worthless in terms of local detail.
