Pressurized F/W to a manual head

I saw the sticky for the crown head and just aquired a WC Headmate to replace an aging monomatic toilet. i've got F/W plumbed to the head location and don't really want to put another hole in the boat or use seawater for flushing. So is a check valve, vented loop in order? What about excessive water pressure? Perhaps a pressure regulator?
