Probably not getting on the water today

Oof! Looks brand new too...

How does that happen, how in the world can you not know there is a height issue on a boat that size. Money and common sense seem to be mutually exclusive.

This is what happens when you're out fishing with your buddies all day and run late picking up your wife at the airport. Maybe too many Shiner Bocks while out?

Brian may have hit it with "it looks brand new". I'm thinking the guy was picking up a fishing buddy who flew in for a trip on the brand new rig. The guy probably had the boat hooked up and decided to show it off. It's probably the first thing he towed that was tall.
I have to admit I did a stupid thing once while camping at a TN lake for a long weekend of striper fishing (we call them Rock Fish). Anyway I put my rods in the verticle holders in front of my console. Duh, forgot about tree limb's being over the short road to the ramp and proceeded to clip the tips off of two of the six rods.

I've had to replace 2 VHF antennas due to forgetting to lower them. Not my best days!

I almost did that with my center console at a car wash once. I usually use the RV bay but wasn’t thinking almost went into a lower one. Remembered about 3ft before the top hit. They sit higher than most people realize.

Well, I have to admit, first time I took my 290 SeaRay out (back in 2000) I went under a bridge and broke the VHF antenna. But I want to re-iterate, I have never EVER taken any of my boats to the airport!
