I'm a first time boat owner (good or bad, lol) I have a 19' closed bow 1973 SeaRay with a 8-cyl 188HP Mercruiser Inboard. The outdrive is a 888 Mercruiser (SN 3607832). I'm trying to find out what prop came with the boat, what kind I should get, etc... I need a new prop. It currently has a slightly damaged prop reading: 49 78120 a40 19p
With this prop I was able to top end at 30MPH with 4 adults in the boat. The max RPM at that speed was roughly 3300 RPM.
Can anyone help me?
I would like to be able to plane quicker to pull skir=ers and tubers but I would also like to have tat top end of 30+ if possible...
