Any tips on pulling a tube behind a 25 foot cruiser? We have an extended swim platform, and no tow eye. I bought a 12 foot harness that attaches to the trailer eyes underneath the platform, a 60 foot tow line, and we have an older tube that we are trying it out with prior to buying one (tube within a nylon cover). I was pulling my wife around last week (with a spotter etc.), but I thought I had to get the boat on plane, which isn't that quickly (6,000 lbs with 300 HP IO). Pretty rough ride. I went slower, which seemed to be a much better ride for the tuber, but the boat never got on plane. Thoughts? I hate tubing, but my wife, and my nieces (who are coming out with us this weekend) love it, so I am trying to make it work. Before last weekend, I had never pulled anything behind a boat.

Thanks for any help.

Terry
