We have a purasan hold and treat system that has worked like a champ for a few years now. The past 2 weeks when we turn the key to automatic it wont stop cycling. It goes for hours and we don't have that big of a holidng tank. Usually when you put it on automatic it will run until the purasan tank monitor (inside the tank) reads low and then it will shut off. Is there a way to reset the purasan tank monitor?

I'm out of town this week and don't have my notes available to me. Please call (800) 352-5630, extension 236 (Jerry Amari) or extension 256 (Greg Morales). Either of them should be able to help you.

Mine did this last week. I gave the holding tank a good flush and it works like a charm again.

This happens to me from time to time. I can hear the macerator, so I just shut it down manually when the tank is empty. But if a solution is found by Vic's coworkers, please let us know.

bump, my 2 year old HNT is back to not shutting off. I assume the tank level indicator is telling the unit it is above the low mark (even when its not).

I'm not (yet) familiar with how the tank indicator works on the HNT/Purasan. Can anyone who has dealt with this please chime in.

Lets make sure the answer gets posted back here when found.

The end to our saga was a loose wire. For those of you in the SF Bay Area we found a GREAT technician to work on the purasan.

Sorry I took so long to reply. The person we used to repair our purasan is Alan McDonell 510 393 9168. He did a great job. Apparently there were a few original installation "oddities" in addition to repairing the loose wire and general maintenance
