Let's say for the sake of argument that Al Gore is correct and the polar ice caps will be gone in a few years. This opens up a lot of water to boating.
Now, lets say I'm directly floating over the north pole and I want to get home to Raystown Lake in the good old U.S. of A. I obviously need to go south, but at this point, isn't every direction south? How do I know which way to go so I don't end up in Russia?
