Hello, I am considering the purchase of a '87 Luhrs Alura 35. This boat sank in saltwater. The engines have peen pickled. Obviosly, there will nedd to be extensive cleaning. The engines /electical are not a problem for me as I have rebuilt several in the past, (boats and engines). My major concern is more about the hull construction. How can I tell if there is balsa coring? I am concerned that if, even after restoration, and dehumidification, there could be problems later with the hull. The boat sank due to a broken raw water strainer, coupled with bad pumps/dead batteries. Thanks for any help. Sorry about the long post, Mark
