Well after the responses to my other thread about a leaky battery for my trolling motor (you guys were really quick and helpful btw thanks! 
) I decided it would be a good idea to look around at getting a small outboard gas/diesel motor to replace the trolling motor which I believe is going to be a bit slow with only 30 pounds of thrust and pushing a 14 foot starcraft sealite with 3 people in it. (the motor hasn't been used in awhile so I can't remember what it was like and it never had this kind of load). The lake im going to be on is a no wake lake so I was thinking about a 1.5-3 hp motor. Does anyone have any recommendations and what can I expect to pay ? I can't find any prices on the internet and I live far enough away from any towns that I don't feel like driving there to get a price.
EDIT: Also I don't really want to buy used because it seems like they wouldn't be able to start very easily.
