Vic,

Do you sell just the spring and black rubber ball that goes into the "T" fitting for the two gallon salt tank? It seems my check ball keeps getting stuck and not letting in any raw water for the head. I took it apart and really did not find anything wrong with the check ball. I put it back in, and same problem. I took it apart again and still not working right. I currently bypassed the "T" fitting and the head works fine. I now have to add table salt to each flush though.

Sure, we sell it. But first, what kind of head do you have? There could be another problem.

Craig, you can't have two balls and springs in series, or it won't pump properly. Remove the screw-in plug on the pump at the rear of the Crown Head and take out the spring and ball that are inside. Then put the plug back in, without them. It should work properly after that.

Vic,

I did remove the check ball and spring from the Crown head pump body when I installed the two-gallon salt tank. This just started happening the last couple of weeks. The water inlet from the "T" check valve started getting less and less. I removed the "T" fitting, put the check ball and spring back in the head pump and everything works fine again. The "T" check ball keeps getting stuck for some reason.

Craig, send me a PM with your name and mailing address; I'll get another one off to you; there may be something wrong with the one you have.

Vic,

Did you ever get my PM? I also have a question about my electrode pack.

Craig, apparently not. I'd been out for a couple of weeks and someone else was going over my e-mail while I was out. It may have been erroneously deleted. At any rate, it never made it to me.

Try sending again: techsupport (at) raritaneng (dot) com -- or give me a call during weekday business hours: (800) 352-5630, ext. 244

Vic,

I sent the PM to your BoaterEd account. I will resend to your work.

Thanks!

Vic,

I received the new "T" check valve yesterday.
Thanks very much for your service. I will be sending my electrode pack to you shortly for evaluation.
