Where's your favorite spot to dock on the East Coast?

Never dock at Block Island, always on the hook. So my favorite would have to be at my house.
 
So many choices .... TONs of places in CT . Shelter is relaxing. Craziest place with no kids and no wife ? BLOCK ISLAND !

I always liked Block Island and the bit of insanity that Champlins had. I do not like the anxiety of not knowing if you will be rafted up and not get a good spot. Also, sometimes the docking was a bit tricky. But each time Linda and I went we always had our tern to a floating dock. I guess we were lucky.
