So my boat will be stored indoors on rack storage with the top folded down. My current top has shrunk and no longer fits properly.

But do I really want to pay $6000 for a new top to be made when the boat will be stored indoors with the top all folded up. And I will need to store the side curtains and aft cover somewhere. Maybe wait until I get a slip if ever.

Having second thoughts.

Save your $6000 &, just to keep out dust & maybe varmints, get a generic boat cover for $150-$200.

Or just get a 'Mooring cover'- simple to get on & off - takes very little storage space

A top is handy to get out of the sun while boating or get out of the rain during unexpected shower.

I am in indoor rack storage. Boat stays very clean, but would not want to leave it uncovered due to soot and dust from the lifts and the occasional bird droppings and drips from the boats above.

You put on a mooring cover? I cannot have my top up when I leave the boat for them to put it back in the rack.

I have a mooring cover. Same thing with me, have to fold the Bimini down while in the rack.
