ok guys where's this one at, it work 2 months ok so didn't worry about ( shame on me ) but now we've got a new puppy "hey" and need it for the poop deck

Are you asking where the raw water wash down pump is? Sounds like you have one but it doesn't work. Not to give you a hard time, but your sentence is very confusing.
Assuming you have one and you need to replace it, open all your hatches, get a flashlight and find all your thru-hulls. Chances are good that your pump is real close to one of those thru hulls.
You need to know where all your thru-hulls are and what each one is used for. Also find all your bilge pumps. Get to know your boat up close and personal.

been in the bilges alot since i bought her, i and know what every sea cock in there goes to thank you very much, and have replaced every bilge pump on her to, and the raw water pump is not working so i thought i'd would ask my fellow carver owners if they knew where it is. and not get a basic seaman ship lesson, got that from the Navy in 79'and thanks for the help ;)

T...I think (not positive) that the raw water washdown pump is located under the bed in the master stateroom. Look for it to be tucked behind one of the other items in that area. Another posibility, is under one of the cabinets next to the bed itself. Pull out the bottom drawers and look for an access panel through the bottom. I don't recall us ever selling one with a washdown pump, but these are areas where Carver likes to "hide" things.

Tony,

I second the ideas that a) the pump is probably near a thru-hull so following each hose is a good idea; and, b) the little "floor hatches" in the aft cabin is where I've found 'stuff', especially adjacent to the berth's headboard.

You might want to go easy on cwms' response. Your question gave absolutely no indication of any boating experience and you have made no other posts to give any of us any idea. Too often the complaint is that answers assume too much knowledge or experience by the person asking. Charles' answer was a very good attempt to be helpful given the lack of input. It's a good, helpful community of Carver owners ... give it a fair chance. Welcome aboard.

MisterBK,
Thanks!

Talezander38,
I wasn't trying to give you a hard time, but your original post was confusing. We often get people on here who truly don't have a clue regarding their boat and often have never even looked into their bilge much less spent time in it.
In my 3807, I have 7 thru hulls but no wash down. I do know that Carver has lots of small bilge openings and they are very creative in hiding them. I'm guessing you do have another thru hull that you just haven't found yet. Find the thru hull and I bet the wash down pump is close by.

I might add that a year or 2 ago, I had to replace the fresh water pump. Not an easy job. I have a very small bilge opening under the steps from the salon down to the galley. When I say small, maybe 8" x 12" opening. I had to put my head under the step to see into the opening, stick one arm in and access the pump that was off to the side. Probably took 45 minutes just to get it out of the bilge.

The raw water pump on my 3607 is under the aft bed, not too far from the hot water heater.

ok i'm sorry didn't give all the info could and i'll not a$$u me anymore :( dock'ed wages pullin that whole bed hard cover to day. that's one spot i've not mapped out yet, just lookin thur the hand hole covers and thanks again for your info.

I believe that I suggested that area?!

Our 3607's wash down pump raw water pump and through hull are located aft of the port engine in line with that side of the battery box and back about two feet.

hey guys i found it behind the panels on the port side aft of the fuel tank, and its not where it should be, it was just hooked up and stuffed in there, i've got plumbing to do oh happy day.. thanks for all the help.

Sounds like it was added somewhere down the line...definately NOT Carver installed if it was just "stuffed" somewhere.

you got that right ! the guy who had her didn't take care of her he just ran her. i found the spot you had said it would be, going to make a platform out of white oak to day and get it and the pump in this weekend the right way.
