Raymarine E80 Video Cable Question

Yes that was a typo it was supposed to say it is a 9 pin not a 15 pin:)
 
Oh well. It turns out that I'm a dunce. The cable worked as is. I was expecting more of a firm connection when I tried the first time. Anyway the cable worked and now I have a rear facing camera (that I can barely see from my helm on the fly bridge). Anyway now I'm ready to tackle the next camera in the engine room. Thanks for the help. Jeff
 
Jeff why can you barely see the rear camera? Is the sunlight hitting the plotters surface?
I thought that series of MFD's were direct sunlight TFT type displays?
Perhaps you can adjust the video's contrast and brightness?

I helped Jeff get camera on his screen. He was missing a setting in the config.
The issue is more of the viewing angle.
His wheel and controls are off to one side and MFD is off to other.
His MFD is not angled enough to view while trying to use shifters.
When running it is okay.

Just a suggestion if wearing Polarized sunglasses try taking them off. I have noticed problems with off angle viewing of some displays when wearing said Sunglasses.
