Recent Navy Collisions - Details

At the end of the day, it all comes back to The Basics.

You cannot skip the basics; they are a part of everything you do in a boat ( well, actually, everything ). These Navy errors are in very general terms, a result of skipping chapters and attempting to move ahead, prior to having a basic understanding of the mechanism(s).

It also applies to all of our boating. kayaks to superyachts, you really need to have a through understanding of the basics. Otherwise, you are a future casualty. And a hazard.
