I have a 2002 1800 LSR wtih Volvo Penta 4.3 SX that I have installed a Monster Tower and change the prop to a Merc High Five. I am in the process of add 500lbs ballast to the ski locker. IN tests the wake is very good for a runabout and the rider is getting some good air off the wake.

Is any one else trying to wakeboard with the Regals?

Any input or advice would be great.
Thanks

Your It ! Just kidding, I have seen many 1700-1900s done up with towers. As far as fat sac, sure.
These guys here are mostly cruisers, I have not seen alot of water sport specific stuff. I did a fair
amount of ski/board duty on my 1700 jet. No problems and plenty of power. I did not get into sacs, etc. The jet had mad hook up out of the hole. Had to be careful not to rip arms off.

I just got a used set of skis for my 1800 (w 3.0l) Have not been out yet. Keep us updated, and dont forget the pics.

Just sign up with a hosting site (I use photbucket.com) and upload your pics there. Once the pics are on photobucket just copy and paste the "IMG" tag into your post.

Not a great picture quality, but this is without the ballast in the ski Locker.

Has anyone installed a swimplatform on this model?

Yes sir, I installed a Swimplatforms.com one at the end of last season. What a p.i.a. to install, but it looks great and is such a great addition to the little boat. Now if I can only get it running.

I had a situation of water in the gas last season, added an inline filter, now the first time out last Sunday...hit the no-wake zone, throttle up, and DEAD. So I drained the tank, tried adding 5 gallons from my fuel can, and it wouldn't go in. Almost like a vapor lock or something. Pulled a few screws off the sending unit, bingo. Added the gas, pumped it a few times, NOTHING. Won't start. I checked the water/fuel separator filter, and there's hardly any gas in it. Any suggestions?

PS. Sorry to hijack your thread. My bad.
