After two weeks with the 2450, She is really well put together with quality materials. This is a great ride for Tampa Bay. My first pet peeve has surfaced. The side hatches are inset and tend to catch water, so if you open them, it wets the carpet lining and looks like a leaky hatch. I have the Nuetra salt system. What a great idea.

Great boat! We've had one for three years now and the only complaint I have is storage. I wish there was some kind of ski locker or space for water toys besides the cuddy. I can stuff a lot of stuff in the cuddy, but that is not why we purchased a cuddy. We got a cuddy so the young ones had a place to go when they were tired or taken on too much sun instead of us having to call it quits for the day. Congrats on you new boat!

Speaking of sun, it seems the custom for Beer Can Island in Tampa Bay is stern to while Eggmont and Shell are Bow in. Any reason?

I would not have any clue. We're in Raleigh, NC. Oh, but did I mention the lack of cup holders in the 2450? No I didnt, well, it could use some cup holders on the port side for the admiral. Not a one is located on her side. Other than that and the price of gas we love our boat!
