Anybody heard anything when the 5260 is going on tour from dealer to dealer?

Rumor has it that the 5260 was supposed to be in Port Jefferson early July but I don't think it ever happened.

Port Jeff has been cancelled.Seems they are going to build another prototype.I don't think the first one came out to well.

While we had every intention of showcasing the new 5260 around the country at Regal dealerships, we had to focus our intentions on actually producing the boat. The initial reaction to the boat was so positive in our first meetings with dealers and interested consumers that we quickly built-up a backlog of a year's worth of orders. So instead of touring, we had to get down to the business of building. However, we are still considering a worldwide launch of the boat in the future. In the meantime, I do have a few images to share with you. Plus, the boat will be featured on the cover of a prominent marine magazine this fall, and we are in the final stages of our exterior photo shoot in bimini, for a special 5260 website that will launch soon. Hope you enjoy.

So how is the photo shoot coming?
Any more new shots? Any shot of the sunpad?
Does anybody know when regalboats.com will finally be updated?

We’re still a few weeks away from the exterior photo shoot in the Bahamas (and anxiously awaiting the trip!); so we don’t yet have an image of the sunpad. We’ll be sure to update you upon our return. As for the website (www.regalboats.com), it has been updated with new 2008 product and images. However, the 5260 website is still in production but Regal owners will be the first to know when it goes live.

Here is another never-before-released image for our owners -- let us know what you think!

Chris

Thanks for taking the time to share with us. The pictures you have released are certainly a major step forward from some of the early shots I have seen. Nice job.

On a strictly humorous note the wrinkle in the starboard side of the berth spread is rather unsightly! ;)

WOW!! Very impressive. Thanks for sharing.

How come I can't see the pictures???????? Do I need to be a member????? I see other pictures...in other posts...

never mind.... I can see them from home.

And WOW!

Looking forward to actualy borading a 5260.Hopefuly at the AC boat show. Looks greart so far.

I have been aboard the original and seen pictures from the second one built and can say that Regal has done an outstanding job on this boat. They have already changed some things that the wife and I didn't like from the first boat. My dealer has been keeping me informed on a regular basis. I think you will all like this boat!

We have had our 4460 for just over a year, and I think we are almost ready to pull the trigger and put down a deposit for a 5260. We liked it that much.

We have SEEN her ... and she is amazing. The 5260 ROCKS. I have some pictures on our website - but I've been asked not to post links here - so if you'd like the link, just drop me a note.

Otherwise... thanks!
