The Regina Maris, a whaler from the 1880's, spent time at the dock in Greenport in an attempt to save her from sinking. It proved fruitless, then was donated to Glen Cove where her twin masts rose above a faux hull on Glen Cove Creek. Due to a development project the masts were cut down to make room for a park and condos. RIP.
