What is it and where do you get it?

Rejev is a polish like pro polish but better. I used pro polish last year it didn't like as nice and didn't hold up well.
I ordered it on line one bottle would do your boat 3 to 4 coats. I bought two bottles for two coats I wont even start the second bottle before I'm done.
I hope it last as good as it looks.

The boat needs to be prepped first. Remove all wax and then compound or buff, this depends on the condition of the boat's gel coat. Then apply Rejex.

Prep is a must. search the web, however a dealer is located in Mass, called I used e-tackle.

ReJex is used on aircraft and many aviation suppliers carry it, I use SkyGeeks

Dave, put multiple coats on you transom and wherever the exhaust may come in contact with

It's also carried by some True Value hardware stores. The one in Greenwood Lake NY stocks it.

When doing multiple coats it is important to wait 12 hours between coats and also you shouldn't do it in direct sunlight where the hull surface will exceed 85 degrees. Seems the higher temperatures cause it to cure too quickly and makes for a less then optimal bond. Those 2 things aside, Rejex is incredible stuff.

Some Ace Hardware stores carry it.

Dave,

You should plan on one more coat on the topside during the season, it will help make it thru the year and keeps the boat looking great.

I planned on putting an extra coat on the stern to protect against diesel dirt. Top side is easy to do so I have no problem doing several coats during the season. I'm just about finished and very happy with the results. I'm hoping to finish tomorrow and finish bottom paint as well. I'm trying to get every thing done for next weekend but I not sure I will be able to launch until the following week sometime. You can't rush perfection.

Thanks again for the heads up about Rejex there where three of you all of which said great things about it.

How does it hold up with the black rain / water marks? Do they just wipe off??

Yup, wipe right off with a dry or sometimes a damp cloth.
