Removing a Snap

What is the best way to remove a broken snap from canvas? I was going to drill it out.

If it's a button snap; I can't think of any other way. If it is a button snap; how is it broken....what's there to break?

The female part is bent so the snap doesn't attach. I found the directions for drilling out the hole here:

I would drill the snap out.

If you have any amount of snaps to replace, I would suggest that you google Press-N-Snap tool and buy one. It is worth it's weight in gold.

I bought a snap kit almost 20 years ago. I just needed to supply a set of
Vice Grips. I still have the little thingys that go on the Vice Grips and
the original set of Vice Grips I bought back then. I use it now and then
but it is a good thingy to have on a boat.
