Repair Instrument Display Panel?

I have a 30 foot Pursuit and the big plastic box that the instruments (radar, GPS, radio, RPM display) are mounted on is shaky.

Over time the replacement of these instruments has left big holes all over the panel due to different size radios, GPS etc

I was going to try to fibreglass the big holes (6 inches or more) in from the back of the panel. Tough job.

As someone noted the part is not available from Pursuit.

Anyone try something different
 
Over on the Bayliner owners club site there is a guy who makes laser cut panels in Al or plastic with graphics that match your image or he can strip a file to do what you want. The stuff looks great and they are not so expensive as most marine parts.

Joe, while I used Iroko (because I had some left from the drawer build I did inside the cabin) you could also use Teak or Mahogany. Iroko looks much like teak and is much cheaper.

www.walllumber.com is a good source. It comes in a 4/4 plank and I resawed to 2/4.

It is not a difficult project.
