Replacement Windlass

Does anyone have a recommendation for a replacement windlass for a 1999 270 Sundancer, the original is not made anymore
 
Lewmar Pro-fish 700 horizontal with freefall would be my choice. A bit oversized for you but more piece of mind.

I've had a Good brand windlass on 3 different boats since 1976. "NEVER" had a single issue with either one. 100% trouble free !
 
I also have used the "Good" brand with no issues. Just ordered a new anchor line kit from them last Friday. You may need to leave a message, but they always call back. Google "good automatic windlass". They supplied a lot of the Sea Ray OEM windlass'.
 
I had a Good windlass on my 340 EC but it did not accept chain, so I purchased a Lewmar. I was very happy with the functionality of both, with the exception that I require chain for where I boat.
 
If indeed your windlass is a Good, you might want to look into replacing with the same. If it was oem from Sea Ray, Good has come out with several models that accept rope and chain, that fit the same footprint, and they offer a trade in policy.
