Hi,
I have a 2000 Mercruiser 4.3l w/ one piece manifolds which are bolted onto the heads w/OEM 6" bolts. To replace the gasket, am I expected to remove the engine from the boat? Trying to keep the gasket aligned while man-handling a 50lb. manifold AND installing the bolts seems a bit much when the engine is in its normal upright position. I can't replace the bolts with studs because of clearance problems with the hull. Thanks for any helpful hints. J
