We had a slight mishap over the memorial day weekend. Knocked the outside ring of a plastic through hull fitting off with a jetski. The fitting is about a foot above the waterline but still makes me sick with worry as it is for the emergency bilge pump. The fitting is made of plastic and the inside flange appears to be firmly bedded to the the hull, any special precautions in replacing the fitting I should be aware of? What should I bed the new fitting with? I would like to replace with plastic to match the rest, any recommended brands?
