First of all, my sincere sympathy to the Campbell family and to Jerry's friends. But just to clear up any potential confusion, my name is Jerry Campbell and I while I lived in the Lodi/Stocton area not to long ago,I was, with my wife Renee, a member of the Village West Yacht Club. As a long time lurker on Boater Ed, my favorite stop is on the SF Bay and Cal Delta Boaters forum where I can keep up with whats happening on the Delta and its boaters. You can imagine how unsettling it was when I opened Flutters thread regarding the terrible accident that took the other Jerry Campbell from his family and friends. God bless them. This Jerry Campbell though is still alive and well and living in SoCal. I'm still in touch with many of my boating friends up in the Delta and I just wanted to alleviate any concerns they may have had concerning my well being. Again...God bless the Campbell family...All of them.

Thanks for posting! I imagine "Jerry Campbell" is a fairly common name. I'm sorry if my posting caused any of your friends and acquaintances any grief! However, I believe the posting did make it clear that the Jerry Campbell who died was working for Vessel Assist. I do not believe there is more than one JC with VAAA in the Delta/SF Bay......
