Considering going to Sailor's Haven this weekend (Friday 9/15-Sunday 9/17). I've got a 14' beam.
Anyone know what my chances are of getting a slip if I head over early Friday afternoon?
 
Should be no issue.
Last weekend was full because of Miss Fire Island contest.
Power there is same as watch hill 50amp 125v
There is no 220v
 
Thanks! I have a "Y" adapter that fits the bill.
Originally planned to head to Liberty Landing for the weekend but ocean forecast for the return trip on Sunday is starting to deteriorate.
Fire Island is the back up plan. Sailor's Haven is my first choice, Davis Park would be my second choice if I'm not likely to get in to Sailor's Haven.
 
Atlantique takes non-residents this time of year too.
we may head to Sailors as well this weekend, let me know if slips if you get there.
Can't come over until tonight.
 
Got here a few hours ago. Plenty of slips. North wall has no boats on it, east wall only has two boats. I'm on the west wall and there are still several slips here, but I think I may have gotten one of the last wider ones.
The one right on my port side is wide and still open, but it looks like the Dockmaster is trying to fill this dock first.
 
Are there any slips there suitable for a boat with outboards (side to tie up)?

Thinking about future places to go.

The south end of both docks would be suitable, but both are taken.
The slips along the north wall have short fingers that would work, but they look like bigger slips.
 
Dave, where did you dock? Looked like poles were gone for the bigger Ocean Beach slips last week and they are doing work again.

I docked at the Mermaid, we all ate there 14 people or so. With tip $800.00 or so. He did not charge me to dock (would hope not for what we spent) LOL. Ocean beach where Nando, Dave and Drew docked (one boat Nando) was under repairs. Nice day on the water
 
Thanks Walter. I've stopped there for drinks before but never ate there and I never think to dock there, I forget they have some slips. Ended up walking over from Atlantique again Sunday late afternoon.
