I need a diver just to put on a couple of zincs as my boat is in the water. I have a really great company based in Baltimore that did a great job on my boat in the past. For him to come to the Eastern Shore for a few minutes work doesn't pay, however, if anyone needs his services in the Sassafras area it would be cost effective. They did a great job removing barnacles, replacing zincs, and clearing the transponders, props, etc. for a modest price. Let me know if you need them.

Larry,

If you are interested (or you may already be aware) there is slipholder on C Dock that has informally advertised his dive services in the past. I forget his name but his boat is "Stray Cats". Hell, if I were still there I'd be happy to dive to hang a couple of zincs for just a cold brew or two.... if it was more than 2 zincs you might have had to throw in a burger at Signals, too.

SJC may want your Baltimore diver to show his $1M liability policy and pay the outside vendor fee before they'll allow him to work. Just a thought.

He is insured but I didn't know that there could also be an outside vendor fee. If, in fact, he could come in, it would save whoever needs his service some money too by combining his service call between us

Mike,

Al is the diver on Stray Cat. I am next to him on C dock.

Craig,
Yep, that's him! Thanks for pinging my memory.

If he's a diver with tanks, and the marina pitches a fit, then just take the boat out and have him do it while anchored.

Bill, good point. You may even be able to take the boat across the river to $1.98 beach or the sand spit across from Duffy's, put on a mask and snorkel and do it yourself.
