I just had this 38' AC surveyed today. We found the generator which was supposed to have apprx 1800 hrs, actually read 3565 hrs. We did the sea trial while running the generator and testing. We got back the surveyor noticed the hour meter on the engine meter registered 1 hour, the generator was 2. He thinks the generator hr meter is actually runniing fast. Has anyone had this issue with a quicksilver generator? The surveyor said the generator hrs are usually double the engine hrs and doesn't think these hrs are correct.
