I have twin Crusader 270s (350 cid) of around 1985 vintage, with fresh water cooling. Excellent condition - and I'd like to keep them that way! I want to do a complete service to the exhaust systems, and if inspections indicate replacement - well that's a bullet I'll have to bite. But my question now is - up to what year are the service parts applicable? Meaning gaskets and such. When shopping for a kits, what year spread will apply to my engines before changes were made and the parts do not apply? Any recommended source/parts list for this service? How many hours RnR are typical for a good mechanic and decent access? Thanks to all!
