If you need to move fuel or other liquids, this is a cool device. I just used one at my vacation place in Maine where fuel has to be brought in in cans and moved where it's needed.

It looks worthless, a clear hose with a brass fitting with a marble in it on the end that would not appear to do anything. But dropped in a fuel can, and shaken the right way, it drives the gas up and over and gets a good fast siphon going through the large diameter hose. Much better/faster than the stupid squeeze bulb ones that don't work/leak half the time, or getting the old lung full of gas from the traditional method.

Hopkins Shaker Siphon and Super Syphon seem to be two brand names, available at Advance and Pep Boys and maybe elsewhere. Not sure which one I was using, since someone else bought it. But I'm about to go buy my own for use around home.

I have one and it works well. Better than the squeeze-bulb type.

I bought mine several years ago. They work great

This is one of the best siphons out there. I buy the Super Siphons. I can literally transfer fuel into the boat without spilling a drop.

This is the only fuel transfer method allowed on our dock.
Anyone refuelling using a can and spout is told off right away.

I bought mine pretty cheap at Harbor Freight. Works great.

I have an easier and cheaper method that has worked for me for about forty years.
Get a length of hose long enough to get from where the fuel is to where you want it to go.
Drop the hose in the fuel.
Place your thumb over the free end of the hose.
Shake the hose up and down with your thumb over it.
Place free end in container you are moving the fuel to.
Let the fuel flow.

I'll keep JV's method in mind. I have to transfer Rain water from one Bbl to another for the Rabbits.

I have one. Coincidentally, I noticed they are for sale at Pep Boys.

I think I bought mine at Lowe's years ago.
