Just happened to notice the new (?) title to this section. Am willing to display my ignorance. Where the heck is Shenzhen Bay???
I Googled it and it appears to be in China! (Obviously I don't have a chart book here at work). Luck. Dale
 
Yes, it is in China, several RO's, myself included, are planning a BoaterEd flotilla there next summer. We are leaving from the East Coast, so it was included in this forum.
 
With a bit of luck the NE passage may be open next summer and cut a good bit off the passage. We can meet up the some of the Canadian RO's on the way.

Dale, seriously, I am a Chesapeake Bay boater and property owner on the MD eastern shore currently assigned to a project in Shenzhen, China until next September. As moderator of this forum Les exercised his rather off-center sense of humor and revised the name of the forum.
 
Thanks, Mike. I should have remembered your post when you left. Never thanked you for the info I got from the posts on your trip south with the new boat. We went up to NYC that summer and it was very useful. Luck. Dale
