https://instagram.com/p/BUAqExZBlD2/ I took this last night, office view with the Miami skyline in the back ground.

I m sure some of the long time ROs will be quick to point out to that big FLIR monitor on the left site and how in the past I was quick to dismiss FLIR as a gadget. BillIIIk, you re around ? :)

I have to say that it is nice to have but with some fine print. This is an enclosed flybridge with glass, glare, reflection etc which cuts nighttime visibility. And since I have a lot of real estate at the helm I can have it on a dedicated 20" monitor along with radar and plotter. I actually added the 4th monitor for the FLIR ...

So yes... i ve come around and FLIR is nice to have especially since we run often the boat at night...

Will i install one on my personal boat (53' open FB)? No... :).

And I still don't understand the need for stern thruster on a twin diesel :) luckily lazzara was smart enough not to put one on this 84 :)

Nice office. I'm green.

Point it toward the Exumas!
