I haven't been to the Delta for at least 2 yrs and am not up-to-date on the goings on.....

Is Spindrift Restaurant still operating? If so, how is it going for the owners?

If not, what happened?

I liked how things were going when I was still boating......
 
Spindrift is owned by the same people that own Driftwood. They're breaking in a new harbormaster - I don't really know what's going on with the restaurant, though.
 
Flutterby.......we need you back on the old swamp....we miss you. Glad you keep us up to date on all the old political bs.....thinking about buying an old boat and joining us again?

Awww shucks guys. I would just love to get back into boating, but my finances just won't allow it. Even if you gave me a boat, I couldn't afford to store, maintain and use it. I wouldn't even be able to afford the dang gas to drive down there very often.

Maybe it is time to try to have a dock party for the ROs who read this forum. This is a beautiful time of year on the Delta. Anybody game?
 
A couple on our dock have been trying to get me to go with them to the Spindrift for the steak a lobster dinner, but havent been able to go when they head out. They say its pretty good. They went out for lunch last Monday and said they had a great shrimp salad.
Its been awhile since the last get together, what about 4 years?
