I have a 98 Mariner. I would like to install splash guards at the aft water line such as they started including in 99 on Mariners. Has anyone done this or know where I can obtain or make these splash guards.
I'm not sure rubrail is large enough. also not sure how to attach such a splash guard. Can't thru bolt it because the fuel tanks are in the way.
Not sure glue and screwing is strong enough against the water pressure when on plan.
They use a piece of starboard with rubrail over top. There are also a couple of custome made angles that they use on factory installed ones to tie them into the design of the boat
