Another Northern Chapter BoaterEd Get-Together is in the plans for this upcoming 2011 boating season..Stay tuned...

Dont get too excited yet Ray...Dont forget that at the first sign of a snowflake that you did abandon us Northern folks by tucking tail and Retreating to the sunny warm weather of Florida...You may have to fill out another application form to become a River Boater again...I'll speak to the board of Directors and see if we can sneak you back in...Do you not remember how crowded it was at last years Get-Together?..There is still a waiting list for some that want to attend..We might be able to move you somewhere near the top, but no promises...It's a balmy 8 below on your Fahrenheit scale here this morning...Hows the weather down there?..

Mid 70's and cloudy with a few showers.
I guess I'll tell Joyce we have to sell the place down here and move back. Unless you can work your magic and get me some sort of dual residency thingy. Maybe I can come back as some sort of honored guest for making all the previous get-togethers.

We have an Idea how to get you back up here...Just dye your hair blue and mingle in with the blue hairs when they do there annual migration north...Remember to stop before you get to the Canadian Border, or else you will get groped when going through customs...or maybe you wa.........oh never mind....I don't want to hear it...

Did you get all or most of your renovations done?..So where was it that you said you got your supplies from?..I went through my old e-mails and all I could see was that you made many many trips to some wal ..something....

The only thing that has been confirmed is that it will be on The Saint Lawrence River...

How's Kingston or Gan sounding?..

As long as they let me into Canada sounds good.
Joyce and I like both places.

Still working on getting you into Canada Ray..It was thought that maybe if Joyce froze you and put you in the refrigerator we could get you across, but then again you would probably defrost 2 or 3 times on the way across the river..Seems to me that there is a defrosting issue with your refrigerator?..

Moe and I haven't been to Kingston in a couple of years, so she is leaning towards there, but as you know were easy and adaptable...How about the US side?..just a thought...but not one of those 100 buck per night marinas...

The Northern Chapter Gazette is looking forward to talking with Joyce and getting something to publish in our newspaper on the ""Adventures of Ray""....I'm sure she will have some Ray stories to inform us of...

Stand By! I've been told by the Admiral that I've got to do more with my life than just drive around on the John Deere, smoke Cuban cigars and drink scotch. At or before breakfast. This sounds like the perfect get-away! Keep us abreast of your plans!

Plans??..Abreast?????we have plans for a breast?....Who's is it?...This is sounding better all the time...Next thing you know Walter will be wanting to come...
Your on the list of potential attendees...

PS:..Moe is off to Cuba on Monday, so there will still be Cuban Cigars involved...

Arlene and I will most likely be making our Thousand Islands run this summer with stops planned for A Bay and Singer island. Kingston is getting pretty boring and the marina is hard to get transient space most weekends. Gan is always a good time even when I got in a fight with the tour boat crew. I won and lost that one. He untied my lines at the Customs dock to tie the tour boat up.
I untied his and retied mine, he hit me, I got a bruise, he got arrested and lost his job.
A good time was had by all, except the dock monkey.

Joyce and I are open to just about anywhere. We plan on taking a trip around Lake Ontario this year so we will work out our schedule based on when the get together is. If it is in Gan or Kingston we figure to just head out from there for our Lake cruise.
Ray

Your trip around the Lake sounds neet Ray. Are you going down as far as Niagara?..How long are you taking to do the trip?..

We will be in A-bay or Sackett's harbor for memorial day week. 4th of July we headed to Niagra Falls.

We are also planning a 3 week trip ending of Labor Day. We have doen th3e round the lake thing and are considering a run down the canal to the hudson and then up to Lake champlain for a week. We will head north from there up to the St.Lawrence, stopping in the thousand islands on the way back to Lake Ontario. Would ove to meet up somewhere.

How about Sodus Bay of the US side?

Easy to get to, easy to dock or anchor, and several restaraunt/Bars.
