Still Boating?!?

We had another great weekend at Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. The parade of lighted boats was great, thanks to any RO’s who participated, we enjoyed and the weather cooperated. G-Daddy, the fishing (catching) was tuff on Thanksgiving weekend out of Chesapeake Beach; water is colder now, so for those venturing out this weekend may find it better. We will be winterizing this weekend…I don’t want to wait until the last minute. Jerry

Well it's 12/10/11 and we are on the boat. We got a late start this week came down yesterday afternoon. We will probably spend until 12/14 on her savoring the last days of our season. The boat is scheduled to be pulled on the 17th. Hoping for a launch date in early to mid March like this year.

Captains log 12/14/11 8:00AM EST Little Egg, NJ. We woke up to the marina water covered with a thin layer of ICE. The water temperature 2'/6" below the hull reading 48.7 degrees. Last night our outside low was 23.7 degrees. The heat pumps are working well it's 76 degrees in the boat. I'll post a few pictures later today. We plan on staying in until either Wednesday or Thursday then the boat gets hauled.
Time to wake up and in a few hours of quality time in the Bay.
