calling the experts...does mono degrade if kept too long? Should it be kept in the fridge for long term, or freezer? Or room temp?

thanks, but it's not the point of the question. If you were moving to the south Pacific and wanted to stock up on lots of line, how is the best way to store it...was more like it. Cool and dry in tropical heat is relative, I guess. that's why I asked about refrigeration/freezer.
