What ever happened to BOATFIX ??? Did they
go out of business ??

I've read a lot of complaints about BOATFIX on other forums but I never had any trouble the couple times I bought from them. It wasn't my "go to" supplier, mostly because it was difficult to find things in their on-line catalog. I found it easier to do a Google search and let it find the part or product.

It's never good for the customers when a supplier shuts down. Competition is what keeps prices in line.
 
Been acquainted with Boatfix since it began, not aware of any complaints. They were always my first choice, no issues at all.
 
I for one, am very glad I got their catalog long before Les closed the doors. It's thicker than the white pages used to be back in the day-best $4 I ever spent. It allows me to get the part numbers for parts from the different manufacturers so I can do an edumicated search online for the best prices on the right part. George was a veritable fountain of knowledge and expertise during the Boatfix heyday and was instrumental in the success they enjoyed. I will sorely miss those days.
 
I bought a lot of gear, including high priced gear, and was always very satisfied with boatfix. I really miss it.
 
I have dealt with Boatfix in the past and never had a problem. What ever I ordered came on time and there prices were excellent
I will surely miss them also

Ditto, excellent experience with boatfix over years and years before it's closing.
