switcheing to slight v bottom from flat hull..

i just got back from talking to a fishing/ waterfowel guide tonight and hes said hes tried both boats and for stability setting/drifting , and comfort riding the best is a slight v bottom.. hes got a cresliner welded hull 18 foot with 60 inch bottom.. i was really sold on the g3 but everone says they are kidney busters, so im going to take a hard look at the 6-10 degree or slight v bottom. any comments or recomondations for a jet boat with this type hull that is welded with floor and console?? he also thinks the evenrude eteck is a good motor??? thanks dave...
