I have worked with both Harvard on their slip agent as well as MIT on theirs. It's interesting technology and has a lot of potential. There are others out there as well but none have yet proven to solve compatibility issues as well as longevity. MIT made a big splash and got a lot of press when they demonstrated its effectiveness with ketchup but it went south over a short time period. I have no doubt eventually it will be resolved but I wouldn't throw out my bottom paint yet.
