The Lost Villages

The St Lawrence river wasn't always as it is now...It was a man altered river to allow ships to travel from the Great lakes to Montreal...Many villages were lost or moved or flooded to create the river as it is now...Interesting history on the River...
I have talked with locals that were living in some of these towns at the time and it wasn't all roses for them...
