The new Sea Doo Spark $4,999 Jet Ski

Sea-Doo has introduced a new PWC for 2014 called the Spark. It will start at $4,999.

It will be interesting to see how these do. I think there will be a large market for them. They aren't going to go 70 or 80mph but 30 or 40mph on the water is fast enough for a lot of people. And at $5K you can buy a brand new jet ski that you don't have to wonder if the previous owner beat it to death.

Under 500lbs Is great for on vessel storage... I ve always though most jet skis were overpriced crap built with the cheapest possible materials like cheap plastics and steel harware. At least this is more reasonable...

This is an example of great product positioning and hitting the price point. My daughter would love the pink one. They could start selling boat to people under 50 years old if they keep this up.

That's a neat little package. We just sold our SeaDoo and I kind of already miss it. This is perfect for the lake house situation where it's not your main boat. I don't need something I can pack the family on to spend the day. I leave the dock go for a ride and come back.
