What are those rubber covers called that are screwed over the holes in your gunwhales where you push rods or boathooks etc through and it pinches them so the rod, etc won't rattle around? They have sort of an astericks cut in them. I have 4 that I need to replace and have not been able to find them online and don't know their name. Thanks!

Hmm good question. Don't have them at the moment. Probably attwood or something but can't verify. 7 screws in each and they are oblong.

It may have the word grommet in it. I found some round ones but not oval shaped as yet; but yes, in essence they are fishing rod (or other) holders.

Success! Thank you! I got some results with the words oval rubber grommet but these look closer to what I had.
